In the past year, a total of 18 employees from JUNKER China team have reached their work anniversary milestones. They have together dedicated 228 years of service to the company, which is more than 10 times longer than the operational years of JUNKER Shanghai Representative Office. They come from sales, services, and marketing departments, and their positions ranging from director, manager, engineer, and assistant. No matter in which department or on what position, they are full of enthusiasm and holds strong commitment to duties, practicing their passion for work and loyalty to the company through concrete actions.
At JUNKER Group, employees who have worked for 10 years reach the first anniversary milestone, and thereafter in each 5 years a further milestone. As a recognition of the long-serving employees, JUNKER Group prepares certificates and exclusive gifts for employees who will celebrate their work anniversary that year. The certificates are signed by JUNKER Group management and handed over by the highest leader of the company or branch where these employees belong to. For half of the 18 Chinese employees this year, it was their 2nd time standing on the stage and receiving the special honor.
As a tradition of JUNKER China team, the recognition ceremony for anniversary employees is held during the Spring Festival dinner gathering at the beginning of the coming year. This dinner gathering symbolizes reunion and gratitude, implies hope and revitalization, and has special significance for the Chinese. Holding the ceremony at such a memorable moment when the Chinese team members are together in festivity atmosphere, can not only show the highest respect and most heartfelt gratitude to the long-serving employees, but also let other team members jointly experience the cheerful and honorable moment, and nourish the spirit of mutual encouragement.
Due to travel restrictions, the work anniversary celebration at the beginning of 2023 did not take place, thus the celebration for several employees were delayed for one year. They were awarded with the unique 16th work anniversary certificates. Besides, it should be noted that the number of employees for work anniversary celebration this year in China has set a new record since the establishment of a liaison office of JUNKER Group in China, which is over 35% of the total number of JUNKER employees in China.
During the 2024 Spring Festival dinner gathering, Mr. Roger Kleffmann, the Chief Representative Officer of Erwin Junker Maschinenfabrik GmbH Shanghai Representative Office, delivered a short speech to all employees present. He reviewed the significant events and achievements of JUNKER China team in the past 20 years since the establishment of JUNKER Shanghai Representative Office. He stated that outstanding enterprises must have outstanding talents, and being able to retain excellent employees for the long term is one of JUNKER’s core competitiveness. He is proud to have such a team with high quality, high sense of responsibility, creativity, and vitality. Meanwhile, he is full of confidence of the future and hopes to continue working together with the entire JUNKER China team in the Year of the Dragon, setting sail and braving forward. Subsequently, Mr. Kleffmann thanked each of the work anniversary employees who were present on the celebration and granted them with certificates.
